The program examines New York’s progress toward its clean energy goals and connects that progress with job creation, economic stimulus, community investment, and grid resilience. Agenda topics include the ACE NY Annual Member Meeting; “20 Years of Growth: Reflections & What’s Next?”; “Navigating Complexity: Regulatory Agencies’ Role in Renewable Energy Development”; “From Queue to Grid”; an EE Panel; “Delivering Under Pressure: Reliability, Peak Performance, and the Successes of East Coast Offshore Wind”; “What Communities and Developers Need to Succeed: Reflections, Engagement, and Leadership”; “From Pushback to Partnership: Winning Local Support for Clean Energy Projects”; “The Next Wave: Applying New York’s Hard-Won Lessons Learned to Future Offshore Wind”; and a tour of the Cohoes Floating Solar Project. The program also includes a screening of The Power to Grow. Keynote speakers are Jackie Bray, Director of State Operations, Office of Gov. Hochul; Sean Ewart, Deputy Secretary for Energy, Office of Gov. Hochul; and Anthony Fiore, Chief Program Officer, NYSERDA. Presenters and panelists include Andrea Bonilla of Vinyard Offshore; Carlie Clarcq of Equinor; Lauren Kastner of ICF; Greg Lampman of NYSERDA; Joe Martens, Former Director of NYOWA; Jim Muscato of Young Sommer; Anne Renyolds, Former Executive Director of ACE NY; Adam Ruder of NYSERDA; Kisha Santiago of NYS Department of State; Joe Tassone of onCORE; Brent Taylor of NYC Department of Citywide Services; and Jessica Waldorf of Department Public Service.
