The summit brings together public- and private-sector experts to examine how advanced nuclear technologies could support long-term energy affordability, grid reliability, economic competitiveness, and zero-carbon energy. Discussions also address safety, regulatory oversight, community engagement, and public trust. The regional convening follows a directive from the New England governors to share information and solicit input on existing nuclear plants, advanced nuclear technologies, and fusion energy.
