Subtitle: "Low Carbon Cement and Concrete for Oil Well and Concrete Construction." Organized by SPE RDTS and the Advanced Materials and Sustainability Group, the symposium covers low-carbon cement, oil well construction, concrete infrastructure, supplementary cementitious materials, geopolymers, field validation, carbon accounting, circular economy, and a student poster session. Technical themes include global cement decarbonization policy and performance metrics; SCMs, alkali-activated systems, LC³, magnesium-based cements, and belite-rich cements; HPHT well design, CO₂-resistant formulations, field performance, and API/ISO considerations; ultra-high-performance concrete and code developments; testing, characterization, downhole and on-site validation, and QA/QC; and waste valorization, alternative fuels, carbon accounting, and data-driven footprint monitoring.
