MMX is America Makes’ annual member-centric event for strategic discussions, presentations, and panels on additive manufacturing, Institute accomplishments, technology adoption, and the U.S. industrial base. The program includes an America Makes State of the Union; a panel on the polymer AM crisis and opportunity; the next phase of the Institute and contracts; the Defense Logistics Agency’s advanced manufacturing program and how to sell to DLA; additive production of airworthy parts; CMMC requirements and implications; 3D printing for drones; industrial competitiveness in a new manufacturing era; and updates on America Makes technology, industrial-base integration, education and workforce development, the Youngstown Innovation Hub, and project calls.
