Co-organized by the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers, the Metals Innovation Initiative, and the University of Louisville Manufacturing Extension Program, this multi-track conference addresses workforce needs, recycling, energy solutions, technological advancements in manufacturing operations, and the manufacturing innovation ecosystem. Programming includes the fireside chat “Challenges to America's Economic Leadership”; talent and workforce sessions on building skilled talent pipelines, leadership development, specialized pathways into manufacturing, and tomorrow’s workforce; energy and infrastructure sessions on data centers, recapturing metals feedstock, Kentucky’s energy outlook, and state infrastructure; MI2 InnoSearch problem, solution, and implementation competitions; “Reshore KY - Bring Manufacturing Home”; “Economic and Policy Updates for Kentucky Manufacturers”; “Digital Transformation in Manufacturing: AI, Data Analysis, and Unleashing Value in Manufacturing Operations”; and a “Metals Supply Chain Executive Session.” General sessions include “Leading Forward: A Conversation with Women CEOs & Presidents” and “Conversation with the Candidates.” The conference also includes an exhibitor hall, interactive workshops, the KYIC Awards Dinner, and optional manufacturing tours at Schneider Electric, The Hill, and Big Ass Fans.
