The event introduces the Year 6 Carbon to Value Initiative cohort and members of the invitation-only Carbontech Leadership Council, an executive group representing corporate, nonprofit, and government organizations. The agenda includes welcome remarks, Greentown remarks, a Year 6 cohort introduction, startup pitches, and closing remarks. The initiative is a partnership among the Urban Future Lab at New York University-Tandon, Greentown Labs, and Fraunhofer USA focused on scaling carbontech and building a carbontech economy. The initiative has supported 45 startups, which have collectively raised more than $700 million in follow-on funding, and facilitated more than 600 connections across startup, corporate, nonprofit, and government networks. Current Carbontech Leadership Council members include Carbon180, CO2 Value Europe, Energy Impact Partners, Fluor, Johnson Matthey, L'Oréal, NYSERDA, Shell, TotalEnergies, and Veolia.
