About

The members-only annual meeting uses structured small-group conversations to provide career insights, identify what is working and what barriers still need addressing, and shape NEWIEE’s future programming. Carol Anne Watts, Vice President of Sales at Freedom Energy Logistics, moderates a panel with Erica Hines, Senior Director at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center; Lisa Wieland, President of National Grid New England; Nina Peluso, Senior Consultant at Energy Futures Group; and Sarah Tracy, Energy Attorney at Pierce Atwood LLP. The speakers’ stated areas include clean-energy program technology and renewable-energy certificate systems; gas and electric operations and New England transmission; utility resource planning, ratemaking, siting, large-load integration, and critical infrastructure investment; and energy regulatory matters, infrastructure approvals, rates, mergers, power purchase agreements, and renewable-energy credits. The Fall Fête is open to members and non-members. The meeting also includes a presentation from Dearborn STEM Academy and a professional-clothing donation drive for students participating in Work-Based Learning.
